Refunds
To request a refund log in with the account you did the purchase or create a login at Customer Accounts section

Submit a return request as follow:

  • Click the Manage booking/refund link at the bottom of the page.
  • Log in to your account:
    • In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
    • In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
    • Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
  • Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
  • If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
  • Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
  • Click Request Return.

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Refunds are processed with Yoco payment platforms. 

Tandem Flight Experience:

  • If weather conditions force the cancellation of your paragliding booking due to safety reasons and concerns and you are unable to reschedule there is an 0% booking and administration fee charged to process refunds.
  • Book 48hrs in advance to verify weather and availability - Short notice purchases(less than 48 hours prior) might still be liable for a booking fee.
  • In the event of a "no show" or cancellation within 24 hours of the confirmed booking date, a 100% cancellation fee may apply.
  • Due to weather conditions and weather phenomena, flight durations are variable and can not be guaranteed.  The weather could also cause delays, postponement, rescheduling, and canceling of the activity due to safety reasons at the discretion of Paraglide Africa, its owners, and management. 
  • The owners and management of Paraglide Africa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any property of the client.
  • All clients must sign an indemnity before the activity takes place.
  • All delayed, postponed, or rescheduled flights can be rescheduled free of charge for 12 months
  • In the event of a cancellation within 15 - 2 days of the confirmed booking date, a 15% cancellation fee may apply.
  • Purchasing a Tandem flight experience does not confirm your flight or selected time and date, but simply allows our team to process your chosen times.  We will confirm the activity, location, and timeslot with you in person on the supplied contact details(*either email or WhatsApp)
  • Refunds are processed with the Yoco payment platform and you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Please allow 7 days for the refund to reflect - If it is still not showing please notify us at info@paraglideafrica.com 

Physical Products

  • We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If the Product was ordered specifically for the user a fee for restocking, rechecking, and reasonable use may be levied.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • To start a return, you can contact us at paraglideafrica@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Training Courses provided by Paraglide Africa:

  • Training courses are not refundable unless canceled more than 31 days before the confirmed course dates.
  • In the event of a cancellation within 31 to 14 days of the confirmed course starting date, a 30% cancellation fee may apply.
  • In the event of a "no show" or cancellation within 24 hours of the confirmed booking date, a 100% cancellation fee may apply.
  • Due to weather conditions and -phenomena, course durations are variable and can not be guaranteed.  The weather could also cause delays, postponement, rescheduling, and canceling of the course due to safety reasons at the discretion of Paraglide Africa, its owners, and management. 
  • If weather condition does not allow your course to take place due to safety reasons and concerns we will within reason attempt to reschedule, but courses are not refundable. 
  • The owners and management of Paraglide Africa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any property of the client.
  • All clients must sign an indemnity before the course activity takes place.

 

3rd Party Activities:

  • Includes all listed activities supplied with 3rd party vendor on the Paraglide Africa website.
  • Paraglide Africa cannot be held responsible for any liability of activities supplied by 3rd party vendors as it merely acts as a booking desk.  All Clients that partake in activities are required to comply with the relevant activity's indemnity and Liability schedule. 
  • In the event of a "no show" or cancellation within 24 hours of the confirmed booking date, a 100% cancellation fee may apply.
  • Due to weather conditions and -phenomena, and 3rd party occupancy schedules activities are not guaranteed to take place on the booking date.  The weather could also cause delays, postponement, rescheduling, and canceling of the activity due to safety reasons at the discretion of the supplier or Vendor, its owners, and management. 
  • If weather conditions force the cancellation of your activity booking due to safety reasons and concerns and you are unable to reschedule there may be a 10% administration fee charged to process refunds.
  • The owners, management of Paraglide Africa, the supplier, and/or Vendor cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of any property of the client.
  • All clients must sign an indemnity before the activity takes place.
  • In the event of a cancellation within 15 - 2 days of the confirmed booking date, a 10% cancellation fee may apply.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded, like sale items, gift voucher cards, or custom-ordered products.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
